About me

Half my life in Germany: I was born and raised in Baviera, graduating with top marks in modern languages and communication science and completing my academic career with further study and work experiences abroad.

Half my life in Italy: I started my career as foreign language correspondent in Milan. After a short period of maternity leave, I embarked on my freelance activity teaching German and carrying out translations. Over the years, I have been able to extend this activity, which I still perform with great enthusiasm.

In addition, being widely experienced and highly specialized, I am able to give results that combine German reliability and precision with Italian creativity and flexibility.

Not least, this bilingual and bicultural life of mine represents a real point in my favour, firstly regarding my personal and professional life, but ultimately a point in favour also for my clients.

In addition to my activities of translation and teaching I have acquired the following qualifications and work experience:
  • many years of experience as employee in the exhibition transport organization sector
  • many years of experience as German teacher at the "Lingua Professionale" in Milan
  • multi-medial training qualification "German as a foreign language" at the Goethe-Institut
  • activity as interpreter in conferences regarding the "Giro d’Italia" (Italian Cycling Race), in industry and commerce
  • many years of experience as member of the Goethe-Institut exam certification committee, at all levels
  • collaboration in editing didactic material for various publishers
  • currently involved in the translation of well-known works of Italian literature for e-book publication
